Remote support software that asks first
The person you help sees who is asking and approves it. You connect from a browser tab. Every session is encrypted end to end, and Team keeps an audit log of who connected to what.
- Ad-hoc help
- A 9-digit address and a one-time code that changes every session
- Branded help
- QuickSupport: a run-without-installing program from your link (Enterprise)
- In your product
- A Get help button in your web app with the embed SDK
- Technicians
- Connect from any browser; Team gives every seat support sessions
Three ways to start a support session.
| Feature | One-time code | QuickSupport | Embed in your app |
|---|---|---|---|
| What the customer runs | The GaiaDesk host app | A signed program from your link; nothing is installed | Nothing: a button in your web app |
| Shows your brand | No | Yes | Yes |
| Customer approves each session | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Left on the machine afterwards | The app, if they keep it | Nothing | Nothing |
| Plan | Any (work use needs Pro or Team) | Enterprise | Pro: one agent; Team: every seat |
QuickSupport links can be revoked, and switching QuickSupport off for the team ends every live session within seconds.

Pick a plan for your technicians
Pro for a single technician, Team for a help desk: every Team seat can take support sessions.
Choose how customers reach you
Read them the address and code over the phone, send a QuickSupport link, or add the embed snippet to your web app.
Connect from a browser
Your technician opens gaiadesk.net/app, enters the address and code, and the customer clicks Allow.
Review afterwards
Team keeps a connection audit log; Enterprise can export it and keep session recordings for a retention period.
Remote support questions.
- Does the customer need an account?
- With QuickSupport or the embed, no. With the full GaiaDesk app, the host signs in to a free account.
- Can the customer see what my technician does?
- Yes. They see the session on their own screen, approve it first, and can end it at any time.
- Can my technician reboot the customer's computer?
- Yes. Restart host is in the session's Actions menu; the session waits for the computer to come back and rejoins.
- Is a support session recorded?
- Only if you record it. Recording is in Pro and Team and happens on the technician's side; Enterprise adds recording retention.
- How is the customer protected from a stranger connecting?
- Codes and approval are checked on the customer's computer, not on our server. The code changes every session, and repeated wrong guesses lock the door for a while.
