GaiaDesk Viewer
Keep using the web dashboard — the Viewer just opens your connections natively, with hardware video and a faster, smoother connection than a browser tab. It never makes this computer reachable and it has no account of its own: every connection starts on the dashboard.

Unzip and move GaiaDesk Viewer to Applications.
Run it once from where you will keep it — that registers it for your dashboard. If SmartScreen warns, click More info → Run anyway.
The .deb / .rpm installs beside GaiaDesk and updates itself. The AppImage: mark it executable and run it once to register it.
Then, on the dashboard: Settings → Connection → Open connections in → GaiaDesk Viewer. Want this computer reachable too? Get the full GaiaDesk app — it opens dashboard connections natively as well.
